Teacher Welcome and Contact Information
Welcome scholars! I’m thrilled to be your teacher this year
and I look forward to working with each of you individually
and collectively. I know we are going to have an exciting,
interesting, and successful year together.
This is OUR classroom! We are a team and must work
together to achieve our goals. As such, I will provide a
safe, nurturing, but demanding environment, and get you
to LOVE READING and WRITING! However, my idea of a
safe and nurturing setting may differ from yours… so if you
ever feel I am being unfair or making you feel
uncomfortable, let’s talk about it because I will challenge
you in many ways!
Your goals should be to excel in this class, to get along
with your peers, and to come to class prepared and with a
positive attitude. I have high expectations for all of you. I
know we are going to have a fantastic year together!
Everything that you need to know to successfully complete
my courses of instruction is found in this syllabus… if it is
not, I will add it post haste. You or your parents can
contact me with questions or concerns via the information
