teachers have decided to try a class-wide clip system

rather than individual. The same rules will apply: we will

begin each day at “Ready to Learn” and clip-up or down

based on the collective behavior of the class. This system

is used as a motivational tool for scholar behavior with an

aim to help them stay positive and on task. Occasional

incentives may be used as rewards for good behavior.

7. It is NWA’s expectation, and every teacher’s

expectation, that each scholar will abide by all school

policies and standards. These policies, standards, and

procedures can be found in the Parent/Scholar Handbook

found on the school website under Parent Resources.

Please call the office at (801) 426-6624 if you have

questions about any school policies, standards, or

procedures.

I will do everything I can to help all scholars be successful.

However, scholars must also do all they can to be

successful too.

Attendance

Attendance is important! Arrive on time! Scholars will be

picked-up in the gym between 8:05 and 8:10 a.m. The

tardy bell rings at 8:15 and scholars are considered late if

they are not in the classroom before the tardy bell rings. If
