“Is anyone among you in trouble? Let
them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them
sing songs of praise” James 5:13. David
encouraged the people to turn to God in
prayer: “The righteous cry out, and the
LORD hears them; he delivers them from
all their troubles” Psalm 34:17.

Prayer is so important. God hears
the prayers of His people, all those who
turn to Him. Our world is temporary, but
His blessings will last forever. He is the
God who cares for us and the One who
intervenes for us.
Do you hear the Lord saying: “Be
still and listen with your heart, for I am
great and I am good? This is a small
world compared to my greatness. See
the vastness of my universe, so you
don't get bogged down with the little-
ness of problems that arise. Prayer
takes you to great heights and prayer
