Accelerating Your Impact

Designed specifically for physicians who are exploring leadership
options, Accelerating Your Impact provides an overview of
leadership and performance improvement best practices.

Participants learn about planning and finance, performance
improvement, plus patient safety, reliability, and service. Also
covered are personal development and action planning so that
participants can better lead and manage individuals, teams, and
          organizations.

Participants work in teams, sometimes face-to-face and at
other times asynchronously, using multimedia resources
and healthcare-oriented case scenarios to acquire a basic
understanding of leadership, management, and quality
improvement. Many physicians who take this course later
complete additional training and become leaders and managers
in their local clinical care settings.
