A Tribute To My Father –In- Law

Dad’s infectious smile of love captivated me when I was introduced
to him by my husband. My observation and personal interaction
with him over the years concluded that he was the epitome of a

            good father.

Memories of him will always live on in my heart. The trips he
made to the bank just to bring me a home cooked meal; celebrating
my personal achievements; giving general advice; celebrating the

            birth  of  his  grandchildren  and  other  milestones;  family  trips;
family dinners and cooking his special soup were all pleasant
            memories.

The most notable memory was the birth of his first grandchild

R’Chard John Dean. Dad celebrated his birth in style by hanging
the Bahamian Flag from his balcony as a symbol to the nation that
God had blessed him with a grandson. The special interest in our
            family is unmatched.

Dad was an honorable gentleman and in death was given the same
respect. He is in the Lord’s presence. As a man lives so shall he
die. I will miss him, but I am comforted in knowing that we will
            meet again.

He was a great father-in-law, he stood out above the
rest. I thank God for blessing me with him.

                                        – the very best

                                       ~Gay Dean
