around and no passive aggressiveness. She needs to know that she can trust what you say and if you aren’t fully showing up, she can smell that shit a mile away and she doesn’t want it.
Don’t take her for granted. Thank her in a million different ways. Don’t take it personally when she is stressed or preoccupied. Give her potato chips when she is drunk. Cook her toast 1.5 times – but don’t burn it too much! Dance with her in the middle of the apartment. Coconut oil goes a long way. When she asks for space, make room. Be quiet so she can speak up – don’t take up all the emotional space! Know that even if she looks calm it doesn’t mean there isn’t a volcano of emotions going on within. Love her family and friends fully because they will become a big part of your life. Tell her you love her through action and words. Most importantly, let her fly!
