A stroke of pure genius from Bao Cheng with this
enamel and silver box formed as a pomegranate.
Dated circa 1915-1920, this box [and in fact
almost all Bao Cheng work that involves enamel]

traditional silver making skills. But Bao Cheng seemed to have the capacity to reinvent the wheel and made a
marriage in heaven of these two ancient Beijing arts.
