Hone Wo appears to have been a silversmith prone to
            extremes; when the items were good, they were often
            outstanding otherwise they were good and not much
            more than that.
            This flared segmented beaker may be small but it is
            outstanding in its own small way. Good decorative
            treatment and the form the beaker takes is quite rare for
            a Chinese export Silver piece.

                                                               This miniature junk is both intricate and far better
                                                               executed than the majority of similar silver
                                                               miniatures ships that proliferated at the time.

            This small dish is a little gem of a piece;
            an unusual shape with the lizard
            stealthily placed across it about to
            catch the  unsuspecting beetle.
