This is an incomplete silver mark for the Hong Kong retail silversmith Wai Kee.






































                                                              A reticulated caged decanter carrying the above mark.
                                                              Firstly,  this  so-called  “dimple”  bottle  has  four  sides,
                                                              so  it  cannot  be  a  Haig  Dimple  bottle  as  the  auction
                                                              catalogue description stated. The silver work looks as
                                                              if  it  has  been  machine  produced  rather  than  hand-
                                                              worked.

                                                              In my opinion, this item was made post 1940, probably
                                                              post WWII, so it is not Chinese Export Silver.
