            Despite  copious  articles  to  the  contrary,  there  is  still  much  confusion  as  to  the  correct  identity  of  this  retail
            silversmith.   Kwong Man Shing is the correct name; there is no such maker as Kan Mao Hsing. The latter is a
            !
            long-running confusion with the retail silversmith Tu Mao Xing.!
            Kwong Man Shing marks are always presented in the form of “KMS”, usually with an accompanying Chinese
            artisan mark. Tu Mao Xing is always written in Chinese characters.!
