Uncharacteristically, this tea kettle has some uncannily Tu Mao Xing-like
                                             elements,  in  particular  the  quality  of  the  lid  and  dragon  finial.  However,
                                             here it is with the KMS silver mark and a fine piece it is too. The treatment
                                            of the handle is particularly unusual, albeit is based on traditional motifs.

            Although dragons feature in the pair of circa 1895 open cruets [below], they are definitely not of the style of Tu
            Mao Xing.
