            Further research is ongoing to determine if this mark might be a derivative of KWAN WO. !
            !
            Stylistically this tea pot that carries the Kwong Woo mark could easily be Kwan Wo. The font used in the “W” of
            the mark is the same as it often features on Kwan Wo marks and the artisan Chinese stamp [above left] appears
            in Kwan Wo marks also, although the latter is not necessarily conclusive evidence given many Chinese artisan
            !
            silversmiths were itinerant.!
            Some auction houses, however, have been known to catalogue an item as Kwong Woo when the silver mark
            shows it is Kwan Wo, assuming “KW” stands only for Kwong Woo.!
