            Canton
            circa 1800-1850

There is one school of thought that believes this maker is one and the same as WE WE WC or at least from the
same workshop. Almost without exception, all pseudo-hallmark WE WE WC marks carry the letter P and in the
same font. The style and the level of quality of the work is identical. The manufacturing period for WE WE WC
appears to have been slightly longer than that of ‘P’, deduced from items that have been found and catalogued.
The styles are almost identical, both following the neo-classical “Georgian”; the qualities are exactly the same.
