vase, this silver and enamelled plate and
mug was most likely made as a child’s
feeding presentation set.
A circa 1900 silver and enamel bowl has the enamel applied to the repoussé decorative motif focussed around a
stylised pine tree. The enamel work of Tian Bao is of a completely different category and artistry than the
acclaimed enamel and silver master Huang Jiu Ji. It is, nevertheless of good quality and it is certainly prized by
Chinese collectors.
