A circa 1910 opium box bearing the Tian Bao
                                                                    mark.  Despite  not  appearing  so,  this  is  solid
                                                                    silver - it is merely badly tarnished. A portable
                                                                    opium box was as necessary to some Chinese
                                                                    as snuff boxes were to 19th century Western
                                                                    gentlemen.
