While this water pitcher is not technically from
the Chinese Export Silver period, it demonstrates
that Wai Kee, in the 1980’s, still strove to maintain
its legacy of high quality silver that bore its mark.
The above receipt is actually the receipt that
relates to this very pitcher; the $4500 price tag is
Hong Kong dollars! It’s a nice piece of Hong
Kong social history.
