A particularly unusual example of silver caged
work, this bitter bottle sports an outer layer that
uses the decorative of waves on the water to
create the cage.
There is also a junk boat, a pagoda placed at the
bottom of a hill, other country vignettes as well as
clouds that are all set against the background of
the open-wave caging.
This small piece has a high level of workmanship
as well as an advanced sense of creativity - all
invested in a small bottle. One can safely assume
this was probably a commissioned piece if not
part of a larger set of similar bottles or cocktail
