Stylistically, the Wan Shu tea pot has bears
several similarities with a contemporary tea pot
by De Xing De. The same “stoutness”, the same
collar that supports the lid and the handle,
although obviously the cane work is missing on
the De Xing De version. It is, in effect, a
domestic Chinese style that was prevalent
between 1915-1940.
