Page 813 - Chinese SIlver By Adrien Von Ferscht
P. 813
A stylish and heavy gauge silver circa 1920 tray with deep flared sides and a bamboo motif against a finely
planished ground. The bamboo theme is repeated in the rolled edging to the sides and handle apertures. From
the silver mark, one can assume this probably started life as a tray for a tea set, since the inclusion of the figure
‘1’ on the mark indicates it was the first piece of a multiple set.
