                                      Xian Shi is the Chinese name for Sincere & Co., the department store chain [see
                                      the entry for SINCERE]
                                      Sincere did operate their own silver workshops as well as commissioning items
                                      from artisan silversmiths stamped with the Sincere maker’s mark


                                      The Xian Shi mark also appeared accompanied by the initials “SC” or “S”.
