XIE CHANG
            Canton
            Circa 1880-1930

A manufacturing artisan silversmith recorded as making for Wing Fat, Sing Fat and Wang Hing - there is an
indication he could have moved to Shanghai in the early 20th century or opened a second workshop [research
            ongoing].

Xie Chang silver items are seen with the Xie Chang silver mark only - meaning that the artisan workshop did not
always create silver for retail silversmiths.

This late 19th century example of Xie Chang workmanship demonstrates this is an extremely accomplished
            silversmith.
