with the same makers and the same mark; In principle, though, the mark is somewhat irrelevant since it conveys
            almost no information whatsoever and never appears alongside a Chinese artisan mark.

            I  am  also  researching  whether  YKC  had  any  connection  to  the  retail  silversmith  Khe  Cheong.  A  significant
            number of Chinese silver filigree card cases [or at least the cases of this high calibre workmanship] appear to
            have come in Khe Cheong custom-made boxes [see below] or from the retail silversmith Cutshing. Filigree card
            cases  of  an  inferior  quality  do  exist,  but  never  carry  a YKC  mark.  Card  cases  that  originate  from  either  Khe
            Cheong  or  Cutshing  never  carry  the YKC  mark,  in  fact  are  almost  always  devoid  of  a  mark,  but  the  work  is
            identical to YKC-marked items, indicating it is highly likely that it came from the same stable.
