A BRONZE WINE VESSEL,
FANGHU
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
Of squared pear shape, the vessel is finely
cast on each side with four horizontal
bands enclosing an elaborate pattern of
archaistic dragons and geometric designs.
It is supported on a square pedestal foot
rising to a slightly tapered neck and set
on each side with a loop handle to the
shoulder.
