A LARGE MOTTLED APPLE-GREEN JADEITE FIGURE
OF A FEMALE IMMORTAL AND A PHOENIX
The standing female immortal is shown holding a peony branch,
and wearing long layered robes falling in graceful folds. Her face is carved
with delicate features, and her hair is drawn up into a topknot. Beside her
is a phoenix grasping a peony branch in its beak. The semi-translucent,
sea-green stone has some yellow mottling and opaque white inclusions.
