NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 12TH CENTURY
With widely fared sides that rise to a rim cut with eight petal notches, the bowl is freely carved and
rouletted on the interior with a scrolling foliate pattern, and is covered inside and out with a glaze
of pale blue color.
