A LARGE SOAPSTONE FIGURE OF A LUOHAN AND QILIN
18TH CENTURY
清十八世紀 壽山石羅漢麒麟擺件
The fgure is carved wearing long robes and has a smiling expression. He is
seated on a qilin with its head turned facing the fgure. The robes, hair and
features are fnely detailed and highlighted in gilt, all on top of an oval base
simulating rocks.
