A PALE CELADON JADE BRUSH WASHER

清乾隆 青白玉瓜瓞綿綿洗
The washer is carved in the form of a melon, with the exterior detailed with a
trailing leafy branch bearing further melons and lingzhi on the lobed body. The
stone is of an even pale tone with some minor russet inclusions.

AN ARCHAISTIC MOTTLED CELADON JADE VASE
18TH CENTURY
清十八世紀 青玉仿古饕餮紋扁瓶
The vase is carved in low relief to the body with a wide band of four taotie
masks surrounded by stylised c-scrolls, below a geometric scroll encircling the
neck. The stone is of a pale mottled celadon tone with an area of dark brown to
one side and several minor streaked inclusions.
