19th century
With everted foliated rims and recumbent lion and cub handles,
decorated with panels of warriors and officials gathered on terraces
and in landscapes, on grounds of phoenix and bats suspending
cash pendants amongst a profusion of fruit and flower sprays, the
shoulders applied with twin gui dragons.

A LARGE CANTON FAMILLE ROSE BALUSTER VASE
19th century
The tall cylindrical body with two large rectangular cartouches
enclosing scenes of warriors and generals at court, the neck flanked
with confronting Buddhist lion handles and mould chilong dragons,
all reserved on a white ground with birds and flowers.
