The fgure with archaistic scrolls on its wings and tail and a long crest
feather curled at the tip is shown facing forward with a leafy stem of EXHIBITED

The pale greenish-white stone has some pale russet color on one side. September 1973 to September 1980.

A SMALL WHITE AND RUSSET JADE ‘PEACH’ CARVING
18TH CENTURY
The carving depicts a large and a smaller peach borne on a leafy,
gnarled branch carved in openwork, with a bat with spread wings
carved on the top of the large peach and another bat swooping
along its narrow side. There are a few small areas of russet in the
softly polished white stone.
