TWO INSIDE-PAINTED MINIATURE

The first of elongated ovoid form tapering
towards a spreading oval foot ring, the
interior painted with fish swimming in a pond
with water-plant, titled yu zao (fish and water-
plant), dated yichou (1985), signed Wang
Xisan zuoyu Yihu Zhai, one painted seal mark;
the second of compressed globular form, the
interior delicately painted to both sides with
a bird perching on a blooming flower branch
behind perforated rocks, titled Fu Xiang
(floating fragrance), each side signed Fengyi
with one painted seal mark.

Attributed to Wang Xisan, 1988
Of flattened, faceted form, with a flat lip and
an oval foot rim, one side painted with an
autumn landscape, titled Qiushan Yunying
(Mountain and clouds in Autumn), with a
studio name Yi Hu Zhai (One Bottle Studio)
followed with a painted seal, reversed by a
snow landscape with a figure in a boat, dated
wuchen (1988), one painted seal.
