Wang Xisan, 1982
Of compressed ovoid form with a flat lip and
splayed narrow oval foot rim, the interior
masterfully painted with a continuous scene
of eight horses in a landscape with gently
rolling mountains and gnarled pine trees,
titled Ba Jun Tu (Eight Stallions), dated
renshu (1982), and signed Wang Xisan with
one painted seal.
