Paddling along in the snow was a trip. I kept thinking no one will believe this as the snow got
         thicker, fluffier, and in some places looked like it might pile up. It was snowing enough to

         make a white world with river banks white with giant snowflakes falling all around me obscur-
         ing, the view.  Then abruptly it stopped.

                     It was as if someone snapped their fingers and the falling snow vanished.


         Snow was still on the kayaks, banks, evergreen trees but the falling snow was gone. Then the
         clouds broke. Needles to say the snow on the ground melted fast, but between the clouds a
         clear patch of Minnesota Blue Sky …….a faint rainbow.      THAT WAS WEIRD.
