Learning Michael’s Story, it is certainly true he has never asked for or got funding from people,
or sources, but has been poor and successful and poor and survived. That is Michael’s miracle.

Whatever it is, he has survived and kayaking isn’t the only story or miraculous in Michael’s life.

But when Michael decided to do the Mississippi River after living an extraordinary life in Alas-
ka, Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, Massachusetts and Israel, the last thing they
         should have said is:

                                           “He couldn’t do it”

                                                   Because He did.

Shortly after returning from the Mississippi River Michael went in for a Day Surgery and due to

complications was hospitalized for 8 days and took months to recover.

Not long after that Michael was back on Utah Lake with a new Intex Explorer K-2 and a few
months later purchased a Sea Eagle 420x that Michael and his wife Lori completed a 120 miler

Paddling from Wahweap Marina to Rainbow Bridge and back .
