I joined the Black Female Accountants Network because I was searching for a support
system to help me integrate and kickstart my career in Canada. The network has been all that
and more to me. It’s been my tribe!!

As member and volunteer I have been motivated to aim for and reach stretch goals. I have

stepped out of my comfort zone and gained confidence through doing things I was
uncomfortable with eg networking. Knowing that I have a community of likeminded women
selflessly focused on helping each other succeed has been a vital part of my career success

here in Canada.

One of the things that drew me to the Black Female Accountants Network is it is a faith based
network., not only are we joining together to grow as professional ladies in different industries

but we also have that base of faith serving God.

One of the reasons you should join the network is it's a great community of ladies who value
and respect one another. We don't just sit back, we are a community so everybody has their
hand on the plow ready and able to get things done.
