CRISPIAN SALLIS

Crispian Sallis began his career working as a runner
in the prdocution office of Ridley Scott’s ‘Alien’, where
Ridley spotted him sketching a design for the spaceship
Nostromo. Ridley immediately had him moved to the
Art Department where he’s worked ever since.

Sallis has been nominated for three Academy Awards
for Best Art Direction for James Cameron’s ‘Aliens’,
Bruce Beresford’s ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ and Ridley
Scott’s ‘Gladiator’ and was nominated two years in suc-
cession for a Primetime Emmy for The Tudors, winning
one.

He has also done production design for ‘Terry Gilliam’s
‘Twelve Monkeys’, and most recently, ‘Legend’ and
‘The Infiltrator’.
