let’s pretend it does mean this. Let’s pretend God is going to get

out a big motion picture camera, and he is going to broadcast

everything bad about our lives, so everyone can see and hear

them.

Let’s pretend that every bad thought, and every bad action in

our entire lives is going to be broadcast for everyone to see and

hear. And we just have to stand there and endure it!

After all, doesn’t Jesus say we must ‘give account for every idle

word we speak’? Again, let me assure you this isn’t what this

means, but let’s pretend this is what it means.

This is presenting the worst possible scenario! After this we will be

ridiculed by everyone, and then God may send us to hell!

In short, let’s pretend there is nothing about anything you have

ever thought, said, or did, that will not be made public to

everyone. They will know every raunchy thing you’ve ever done
or thought or said.

God is will go on to judge you for each and every one! Can I make

this any more depressing?

It’s a deep hole we’ve dug. But there is hope, as bad as it looks.

Standing by your side through all of this, you have your attorney,

Jesus Christ, the Creator of the universe. Theologically, he is

called the Mediator between God and man. You don’t have to

open your mouth to defend yourself. Jesus will speak for you.
