God Knows Our Hearts (I Sam 16:7). He Knows If We Trust Him
or if we don’t trust him. And it’s the gospel truth, and our belief

of it that reveals the secrets of our hearts (Rom 2:16).

Abba knows if we trust his gospel. He knows if we see ourselves:

               (1) cowering before the judgment seat, or
               (2) cuddling with him on his lap in transition from earth to heaven.

Ask Father to give you a picture of you on his lap, his arms

around you, holding tight. Risk being childlike, as Jesus says. Yes,

I’m well aware it’s not a very mature, adult picture.

                                    Wouldn’t this be true transformation:

                                          the ultimate life experience?

The Christian life is intended to be an adventure. It is meant to

be a life-long adventure. It is meant to be a lifelong journey in
God. If we believe gospel truth, our destination is planned and

sure. Our journey in this life is the issue.

How we live it reveals our belief and trust in God – or lack of it.

Anything less isn’t living. Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and

the life.” Again, Hebrews refers to the gospel as 'the new and

               living way.'

Sometimes I’m accused of stretching the gospel too far, and

making too much of it. In most cases I don’t think I stretch it far

enough! I don’t think we will EVER know the full height, breadth,
