               3.  No title, unless specifically instructed to do so.

               4.  Be sure to answer ALL parts of the prompt in your essay.

               5.  Never begin an essay with anything like this, “Hello, my name is…,” “I am going to write about…,”
               “In this essay I will tell you….”



                 Practice 21:  Writing Your Introduction

               Using your outline, Write the introductory paragraph for your essay. Remember that the prompt for
               the essay is the following:  Water can be both destructive and life-giving. Compare water in the natural
               realm on earth, the way water is used in the Bible, and the ways water has affected your own life. Use the
               prewriting that you’ve done on this subject.
