Joe: I say “Thank you.”

Christian: How about thank Him right now for saving you? Just talk to Him like you would talk to your
Dad.
[This time let Joe do the praying.]
Joe: “Dear Jesus, thank you for coming into my life and saving me.”

Christian: That’s great! Just before we go, let me share two more verses with you. As you live your
Christian life, every so often, Satan may come to you and tell you that “if you were really a Christian you
wouldn’t do anything like what you just did or say anything like you just said,” causing you to doubt your
salvation. When that happens turn to I John 5:11 and 12….read this:
Joe: “And this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath
the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”

Christian: So God says that if you have Christ you have life….everlasting life! Joe, you just asked Christ to
save you and received His gift by faith. Today is _______________. When you get home, write today’s
date in your Bible so you can always remember that today is your SPIRITUAL BIRTHDAY!

Christian: Also Joe, there are four things that a growing Christian should do regularly:
1. Read your Bible….I suggest starting with the Gospel of John or Mark.
2. Pray….talk to God every day. About anything!
3. Go to a good Bible-believing church regularly so you can meet and fellowship with other
Christians.
4. Share Christ with other people….tell them about Christ coming into your life!
