E. Jajangmyoen Recipes
Ingredients:
1. Fresh jajangmyeon or udon noodles 100 gr
For the sauce
1. Chunjang, Korean black bean paste 75 gr
2. Cooking oil 30 ml
3. Sugar 15 gr
4. Oyster sauce 15 ml
5. Chicken stock 60 ml
6. Corn starch 15 gr
7. Water for dissolved the corn starch 30 ml
Meat
1. Beef 10 gr
2. Grated ginger 5 gr
3. Rice vinegar 15 gr
4. Salt 7 gr
5. Pepper 7 gr
6. Cooking oil 30 gr
7. Soy sauce 15 gr
Vegetables
1. Onion 10 gr
2. Zucchini 250 gr
3. Cucumber for garnish 30 gr
How to make:
1. Have a pot of water ready to cook the noodles. Turn the heat on when you start
cooking the meat. This way you will have the boiling water ready, for cooking the
noodles, by the time the sauce is done.
2. Prepare the beef and vegetables by cutting them into 1/2 - 3/4 inch cubes. Marinate
the beef with a rice vinegar, ginger, salt and pepper while preparing the vegetables.
