What Your Agent Isn't Telling You...

Bonus Tip: How To Sell Your House On our Own

This may sound ridiculous but I

want you to succeed even if

it’s not with me. So I will give

you couple of tips on how to

                                                               sell your house yourself

without the aid of a top of the

                                                               heap Realtor like myself.

You can use me to set up a ‘ at fee’ listing on the Multiple Listing

Service or ‘MLS’ for you for a $1,000 onetime fee. This way your

listing will be visible on the market for all to see and you will get

more exposure than using Craigslist or some other site like that.

I don’t want to dissuade you from going this route if

you absolutely have to, but I must warn you that once you list

your home ‘for sale by owner’ or ‘FSBO’ you are opening up
the oodgates for other Realtors hounding you day and night

looking for a listing. And if that’s not bad enough you will attract
the attention of every wannabe real estate investor in the city and

tire kickers that want to waste your time saying that they want

to come by and “see your house” so they can give you a

ridiculous lowball cash o er at the end of the conversation.

Aside from that, once you nd a legitimate buyer have

them provide you with a ‘purchase and sale agreement’ and at

least $1000 of earnest money so that it will hurt them in the

pockets should they decide to back out of the deal for some
reason. Then once the buyer submits the written contract to

theirs or your title company a closing date will be set and then

you are on your way. Simple as that! There are obviously more

variables involved in going from contract to closing that a

professional like myself will handle for you if you chose to be my

client, but this is basically the gist of how the process works.
