evaluation of student organizations/projects and activities.
GENERALPOLICIESAND GUIDELINESONSTUDENTORGANIZATIONS
TheUniversity strongly adheres to a credible, competent, and responsive leadership. For this purpose,the students
areencouragedtoorganize andactivelyparticipateinanyorseveralduly recognized students’organizations.
TheStudent Organization Unit of the Office of Student Services serves as the coordinating center of the University.
The specific policies and guidelines promulgated governing student organizations form part of Appendix A of the Student
Handbook.
EstablishmentandOperation
The establishment and operation of any student organization in the campus, or in the colleges/departments are
governedbytherulesandregulationsoftheOfficeofStudentAffairs and Services suchasthefollowing:
1. Authority toOperate
Studentswhowanttoestablish,join,andparticipateinstudents’organizationsinthe campusshallbesubjectedto
the rules and regulations of the University through the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) after due
recognitionbytheDirectorof Student Affairs andServices.
2. SupervisionofStudentActivities
It will be the responsibility of the Director of the Student Affairs and Services and the Chief of Student
Organizations tosuperviseall theactivitiesofall duly recognized student organizations.
3. Application forRecognition
