LITERACY: AN INTEGRAL PART OF LEARNING

Literacy focuses on developing each child’s ability to
understand and use language as an integral part of
learning in all areas. At DGPS Foundation, children learn
these attributes in a range of ways such as studying
phonics, demonstrating understanding of what they read,
writing spoken words and sentences. Children need to
interact effectively in the world around them, express
themselves creatively, make progress in their learning
and communicate confidently using the four modes:
Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
