Soft Lens Patient Refit Ratio
A median of 30% of soft lens patients having an eye exam are refitted with a new brand, material or lens type during their eye exam
visit. Because soft lens technology continues to advance rapidly, a refit ratio under 18% reveals an “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”
mindset that, over time, will undermine patient satisfaction and produce sub-optimal contact lens revenue.
