14. SCHEDULE
The Contractor shall be prepared to commence work immediately upon receipt of a
Notice to Proceed. The currently scheduled contract approval date is on or about
August 25, 2017. The Undersigned understands that early completion is important to Cornell
University and that schedule will be considered in Cornell University's evaluation of proposals.
It is an Owner's requirement that occupancy of the building be taken no later than
August 1, 2019. Therefore, time being of the essence, the Undersigned proposes to perform the
work in accordance with the following Schedule of calendar days which shall be calculated as
beginning on the date of Contract Award:
Activity Calendar Days
Mobilize 20 Work Days
Start Work 15 Work Days
Substantially Complete 489 Work Days
Total calendar days from project
Start to Project Completion 524 Work Days (7-18-19)
The Undersigned encloses herewith an abbreviated form of CPM Schedule that
demonstrates that the work can be accomplished within the scheduled dates quoted above.
