Sheerwater Joins as IAGC Governing Member
IAGC welcomes Shearwater as a Governing Member! Shearwater is a global provider of powerful
geophysical marine seismic acquisition and processing services. Since being founded in 1879 as a Norwegian
business trading skins and leather, GC Rieber has evolved over four generations to a global shipping
organization providing ship development, design, construction and operation services to the subsea, seismic
and ice/support sectors.
GC Rieber is not new to marine seismic having performed pioneering operations in the Hudson Bay and
Canadian Artic as early as the 1960s.
ConocoPhillips Joins IAGC as Industry Partner
ConocoPhillips as an Industry Partner. ConocoPhillips is largest
production and proved reserves. It employs over 11,400 staff with
operations across 17 countries.

The IAGC welcomes SeaBird Exploration as a Contributing Member. SeaBird is a global provider of
marine 2D and 3D seismic data for the oil and gas industry. The company is the market leader in the highend
2D seismic services segment, while also being a leading provider of niche 3D and source vessel
solutions. SeaBird's headquarters are in Cyprus, and it has regional offices in Limassol, Oslo, Houston and
Singapore.
