IAGC Presents Breakfast Technical Session at
OTC 2018
On 1 May, the IAGC will present a Topical Breakfast Special Event session at the Offshore Technology Conference
(OTC). The session, entitled "Ocean Sound and Marine Animals: Advancing the Geophysical Industry in a Complex
Regulatory Environment" will examine key scientific findings, global regulatory developments and trends, the
importance of understanding the complexities of an ever-increasing restrictive regulatory environment, and how
the industry is contributing to the body of sound science and utilizing tools and new approaches to inform key
stakeholders and regulators. The session will also provide helpful guidance on successfully navigating these
complexities in a time of reduced resources.

The session cost is $60 and includes the breakfast. Attendees must also
purchase a one-day or four-day registration in addition to the $60 Special
Event Ticket. The registration fee includes admittance to the technical
sessions and exhibition only.
OTC will take place 30 April – 3 May 2018 at NRG Park in Houston, TX.
OTC encourages energy professionals to exchange ideas and opinions to
advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and
environmental matters.
