                            Business Meeting Minutes

        Friday Morning, August 16, 2019

                The Burning Springs Association met with the Cow Branch
        Church at the Old Paint Church building at Crockett, Kentucky.   The
        Moderator,  Elder  Jerry  Brown  welcomed  everyone  to  the  2019
        Burning  Springs  Association. After  several  songs  were  sung;  Elder
        John Rigsby provided a brief history of the “Primitive Baptists”. El-
        der George Ben Combs led prayer, Elder Robie Brown opened the
        service.    Elder  Michael  Finch  preached  the  introductory  sermon,
        followed by the congregation singing.

                Moderator  Elder  Jerry  Brown  then  appointed  Elder  John
        Rigsby to see the stand was occupied during the business sessions.
        Deacon Roger Keaton was appointed to record the arrangements at
        the preaching stand.   Deacon Charlie Bolin was appointed to the
        finance committee to collect donations during the association and
        compile the host church expense report for the Association finan-
        cial report.  Each Visiting Elder from the Corresponding Sister Asso-
        ciations was introduced.

                Delegates were then dismissed and instructed to proceed to
        the business meeting.

        The Business meeting proceeded as follows:

          st
        1 :     Moderator Elder Jerry Brown called the Business Meeting to
                order and after a song; Elder Glenville Powell led prayer.

          nd
        2 :     The  Assistant  Clerk  read  the  letter  from  the  Cow  Branch
                Church, since they are the host church of the 2019 Associa-
                tion.    The  letter  was  approved  by  a  motion  and  a  second
                without objection.  The remaining letters from sister church-
                es were put in the hands of the Committee of Arrangements
                to be read and approved later.
