Message

Singapore’s success rests on the collective character of its people.

It must above all be a place where people have intrinsic respect for one another, regardless of their
backgrounds. It is part of our nature to help each other and work together for the common good.

Formed in 1995 by the pioneering Gold Award recipients, the National Youth Achievement Award
(NYAA) Gold Award Holders’ Alumni (GAHA) has carried these ideals forward. It now brings together
thirty cohorts of alumni, bound by a shared commitment to service, and shares their meaningful
contributions in wide-ranging fields, from healthcare to sustainability.

I commend all GAHA members for your dedication. May you continue to inspire Singaporeans to live
boldly, care deeply, and build a better future for all.
