For three decades, the NYAA Gold Award Holders’ Alumni (GAHA) has stood as a testament to the
transformative power of youth leadership, resilience and service. What began in 1995 as a vision
shared by the pioneering Gold Award recipients has evolved into a vibrant community of over 6,000
members who continue to shape Singapore’s future in their own way.

Each Gold Award represents not merely personal accomplishment, but a commitment to lifelong
service and excellence. Through GAHA, this promise has been honoured time and again, as members
have channelled their diverse talents into meaningful contributions spanning public service, social
enterprise, community development, and international engagements. The “Service Beyond Gold”
ethos continues to inspire generations of youth to step forward, lead with integrity, and uplift those
around them.

As we celebrate this milestone, I thank GAHA for your unwavering dedication to nurturing youth
leadership and fostering a culture of service. The impact of your collective efforts resonates deeply
across our society, creating ripple effects that extend far beyond your immediate circles. I encourage
